Punk Rock Radio

I am curating a short series for Razorcake’s website that is focused on interviews with punks who hosted college/university radio shows (or pirate, community shows). The series is focusing on two types of contexts: 

(1) Very early punk shows that were important because those shows would have been the only outlet for punks in a specific area to hear punk records. 

(2) Shows that helped a scene get going and then that scene would have a national or international impact on punk. 

Pre-Internet college radio in the United States was really the main outlet to hear the bands and seemed to sit alongside fanzines as the most important way to discover new music. I assume university radio functioned in the same way in other countries, but I'm also excited for opportunities to interview people involved with pirate radio or community radio punk shows.

If you hosted a show that would be a good fit given what I described above, or if you lived in a city or town where a specific show was the only outlet to hear punk records, please let me know if you'd be up for chatting/might be able to put me in touch with someone who did the show you think was important. My only caveat is that the interview needs to happen in English since my Spanish is horrible and I don't speak any other languages. Thanks in advance for any help or tips.
