London: Verso, 2013 The Boredom Society Reading Group investigates this elusive, fundamental and largely unacknowledged emotion. Is boredom a dark matter of the media universe, is it a portal to misfortune (an undoing of the self), or a source of creativity and wellness? A threshold to the future?
