The appoint= ment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream with an ex= pected start date of July 1, 2020, or shortly thereafter. Applicants must have earned a PhD degree in Women and Gender Studies, Cultu= ral Studies or a cognate discipline by the time of appointment, or shortly = thereafter. We are seeking= candidates whose teaching grapples with intersectional areas of gender, ra= ce, class, sexuality, ability, coloniality, Indigeneity, and other importan= t differences, as well as contributes to or is in conversation with WGSI=92= s strength in transnational, postcolonial, diasporic, decolonial, and indig= enous feminist studies. Strong candidates will successfully incorporate the= ir pedagogical research into the classroom and engage with current debates = and initiatives in the field.
