Apologies. Proper version with ISBN included. Dear members, This Saturday, 13 December, in Groningen, Holland, sees the opening by Mikhail Gorbachov of a major exhibition *Russian Landscape*. It covers most of the 19th century but centres chiefly upon the major practitioners of the Peredvizhniki: Shishkin, Savrasov, Vasilev, Polenov, Kuindzhi and Levitan. Around 70+ important works in oils will be on show.
