  The University of Richmond Museums presents Torn from Darkness: Works by Felix Lembersky, September 25 through December 2, 2012. 

  The exhibition features twenty paintings and works on paper by the Soviet Jewish artist Felix Lembersky (1913-1970).

  Torn from Darkness: A Symposium on the Art of Felix Lembersky  will take place on September 24, 2012, 6:30-9:00 pm. Speakers include Joseph Troncale, Alison Hilton, Yelena Lembersky and Lourdes Figueroa.

  Catalogue is available (essays by Galina Lembersky, Joseph Troncale, Alison Hilton, and Lourdes Figueroa, director's foreword by Richard Waller; full color, 72 pages).
