  The University of Richmond Museums presents Torn from Darkness: Works by Felix Lembersky, September 25 through December 2, 2012. 

  The exhibition features twenty paintings and works on paper by the Soviet Jewish artist Felix Lembersky (1913-1970).

  A Symposium on the Art of Felix Lembersky  will take place on September 24, 2012, 6:30-9:00 pm. Speakers include Joseph Troncale, Alison Hilton, Yelena Lembersky and Lourdes Figueroa.

  Catalogue is available (essays by Galina Lembersky, Joseph Troncale, Alison Hilton, and Lourdes Figueroa, with director's foreword by Richard Waller; full color, 72 pages).
