SHERA's officers are delighted to announce the launch of our new website,
www.shera-art.org.

The website features information about SHERA, a News blog, Member research,
and a Resources page with over 100 listings and links to museums, web
resources, and more. Prospective members may now join SHERA online through
a secure Paypal system.
Please contact SHERA's officers at [email protected] with
contributions to the News blog, the Resources page, or with comments and
suggestions about the website.

SHERA's website was designed and built by Adam Snetman, founder of Starting
Now (http://startingnow.co), with input from SHERA's officers. Special
thanks are due to Kathleen Duff and Anna Sokolina for their outstanding
contributions to the Resources page. We are grateful to members who sent
their dues by mail to fund the website's creation. Initiative for SHERA's
recent reinvigoration came from Tamara Jhashi, who was soon joined by
Andrea Rusnock, Alison Hilton, Rosalind Blakesley, Wendy Salmond, and
Kristen Regina, among others, in advising on the elections that were held
in January and proposing the creation of a website. SHERA's current
officers are deeply grateful to them all for strengthening the foundations
of the society and preparing it to move into the future.

SHERA will continue to use its listserv for questions and discussion among
subscribers. Since 2004 Tamara Jhashi has been managing the listserv,
making it a vital forum for holding SHERA together. You may subscribe to
the listserv at  http://lists.oakland.edu/mailman/listinfo/shera. Sending
an email to [email protected] will post your message to all list
subscribers.
