Dear Colleagues,

SHERA's officers are now seeking nominations and self-nominations for
Member-at-Large positions for a two-year term, 2014-2016. Nominations must
be sent by *31 December 2013* to [email protected]
Voting will take place by electronic ballot in early January.

Members-at-large help SHERA's officers with administration of the society
by helping to broaden the representation of decision makers. In the past
year, they have been called on for advice on editing SHERA's bylaws, and on
wording pieces of text for the website to ensure that it is inclusive of
SHERA's diverse membership. http://www.shera-art.org/about/our-bylaws.php

All are heartily encouraged to participate in the nomination process, in
particular graduate students and members from outside the United States.
You must be a dues-paying SHERA member in order to nominate a candidate,
and all candidates must be SHERA members in order to be listed on the
ballot.

SHERA's officers would like to thank its first group of Members-at-large,
Kathleen Duff, Eva Forgacs, Danilo Udovicki-Selb, and Alla Vronskaya, all
of whom have made invaluable contributions to the society's success. They
are eligible to run for a second term if they like.

Please send your nominations to [email protected]

Best wishes to all for rest of 2013 and for the New Year!
Margaret Samu
