Dear Colleagues,

The period to nominate (or self-nominate) candidates to serve as
Members-at-Large of SHERA has been *extended to Friday 10 January. *

Your participation as Member-at-Large on SHERA's board will help balance
our leadership. We warmly invite you to nominate yourself, especially if
you --
+ live outside the United States
+ work as an archivist or librarian
+ work at a museum
+ are a graduate student
+ are an independent scholar
+ specialize in architecture
+ specialize in art or architecture before 1700
+ specialize in art or architecture in Eastern Europe or Eurasia

SHERA's current officers are all art historians living in the U.S. and
working mainly on Russian art from 1700 to the present. We believe that
SHERA's board should represent the society's diverse membership, and would
like you to make that possible by joining us.

Please send your nominations or self-nominations to
[email protected] by *Friday 10 January*. Electronic voting
will take place 12-20 January. If you need to renew a membership from last
winter, just go to www.shera-art.org and click on Membership.

Best regards,
Margaret
