Election Results: Members-at-Large and Changes to SHERA's By-Laws

Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to announce the results of SHERA's elections that took place last week. The proposed changes to SHERA's bylaws passed by a vote of 45 to 1, and will go into effect immediately. Tamara Jhashi, officially appointed as SHERA's Listserv Administrator (a role she has been filling as a volunteer since 2004) will join SHERA's list of officers, as will Ksenya Gurshtein, officially appointed as SHERA's Web News Editor (a role she has been filling as a volunteer since November 2013). We also would like to welcome four new members-at-large, Eva Forgacs, Nicolas Iljine, Anna Novakov, and Andrea Rusnock. Members-at-large will serve for a term of two years, from January 2014 to December 2015. Many thanks to everyone who voted and especially to those who volunteered to serve in the various positions. The lively turnout is yet another sign of SHERA's vitality!
