a new gallery of Russian avant-garde at MoMA

Dear colleagues,
There is a new gallery of Russian avant-garde art from the collection of The Museum of Modern Art on its 5th floor. While some of the paintings are often on view, most works on paper are rarely out of storage, so it is a valuable opportunity to see them. We wrote this blog post for the general public describing some of the curatorial thinking behind such an installation in the museum's collection galleries.
