Hello, I volunteered to replace Roann Barris, who is unable to come to ASEEES this year, as a speaker at the panel “Women in Visual Culture: Courtesans, Self-fashioning, and the Exotic." The panel is chaired by Dr. Ernest Alexander Zitzer of Duke University and is taking place on Friday, November 21, from 10 to11:45 AM at Grand Ballroom Salon H. The title of my paper is “Varvara Stepanova: Mad Love and Metaphoric Imagination.” Please stop by if your schedule allows it.
