documentaries as research resources

Dear colleagues,

As a new SHERA member I would like to draw your attention to my  
activities.

I am a Ph.D. in Philology, specializing in Russian language,  
literature, art and film. I also produce documentaries on art and  
culture. These documentaries, being a unique resource relating mainly  
to Russian art and culture, would provide a valuable reference or  
instructional tool for students.  Many of them were produced for  
Russian television, or to accompany major shows, like the 2006  
“Russia!” exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum, and combine Russian art  
history with explorations of the contemporary Russian cultural scene.  
I have taken the liberty of attaching a list of DVDs of these films to  
this letter.

As producer of the documentaries on the attached list, besides  
offering them for your library collections and as teaching aides, I  
would be very interested in cooperating to organize seminars,  
workshops and/or courses to further explore subjects covered in my  
films.
