Election results and congratulations to new board members

 Dear colleagues:

I am happy to announce the results of our most recent election and welcome
Ksenia Nouril as SHERA's new Secretary & Treasurer for the next two years
and Amy Bryzgel as our Web News Editor for the next year.

I also would like to take this opportunity to thank Yelena Kalinsky and
Ksenya Gurshtein, our departing Secretary & Treasurer and Web News Editor
respectively, for all the work they have done on behalf of SHERA.  Yelena
was instrumental in helping to revive our nearly extant organization by
setting up the financial structure, maintaining our membership database,
and tending to our website needs.  Ksenya did an excellent job keeping us
up to date on all the important events in our field by expertly updating
the News Blog in a timely and efficient manner.  In no small measure,
Yelena's and Ksenya's efforts contributed to SHERA's growth.

As we are preparing for the upcoming CAA conference in February, I am
looking forward to working with the renewed board on expanding our
membership base and the range of our outreach and services to the members
of our community.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy holiday
season and a wonderful New Year.
