My name is Liv Hopkins and I am a first-year PhD student at the University of Sydney. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for films or television shows made after the complete abolition of the Hays Code in 1969 within the horror/thriller genre that either are set in or deal in a significant and meaningful way with the South to add to the list below? I'm also interested in anything produced earlier that has made a significant contribution to the ongoing depiction of the South in the thriller/horror genre.
