From: laurence raw <[email protected]> CALL FOR FILM REVIEWS We are looking for film reviews of recent American films to be included in the upcoming issue of the Journal of American Studies in Turkey (JAST), a semiannual publication of the American Studies Association of Turkey (ASAT). Reviews should be around 800-1000 words and written in MLA format. Please provide your name, affiliation, and contact information (email and snail mail) with your review. All correspondence concerning the reviews should be addressed to the film review editor, Berkem Gurenci Saglam, via email at [email protected] You will get a free copy of the journal in which your review appears! Any film is suitable for review, whether mainstream Hollywood, independent, wide-released, non-American or whatever. The only stipulation we make is that it should have been released in 2011 or 2012, so as to render then contemporary. Reviews should be addressed to general audiences as well as film studies specialists. They are there to entertain as well as inform! Laurence Raw, Baskent University.
