From: Dr. Steeve Coupeau <[email protected]> My name is Dr. Steeve Coupeau with NYIHA MEDIA found globally at: http://www.nyiha.com. I wanted to get in touch to invite you to NYIHA FILM FEST, which brings into the public eye films that add to knowledge of migrations, diasporas, and interactions of cultural groups. Showcasing some of the best films being produced internationally, the festival's line-up includes provocative dramas, edgy thrillers, and intriguing documentaries from countries as diverse as Puerto Rico, Haiti, Brazil and South Africa. NYIHA translates to border in English. Border-crossing mobility has been prevalent throughout history. The border has come to signify a process of interaction and circulation of people and ideas across physical or non-physical spaces. We’ve already had a great response from a range of organizations and filmmakers, both nationally and internationally. Our screening room, at Maysles Cinema, is a charming venue. Any question, feel free to call us at 646-301-0146! NYIHA FILM FEST 2013 is set to be our best yet with experiences that are interactive, entertaining, informative, and memorable.
