I am a bit late in reacting to this, but I think a film that suits the
description very well has not been mentioned. In Iciar Bollain's The doy
mis ojos the female protagonist starts are career in teaching art
appreciation, thus finding a completely new dimension in her life. In one
scene she is seen expounding on nothing less than Kandinsky's Komposition 8.
