More specifically, he is looking for articles or books which deal with aspects of intermediality and intertextuality (for instance, the uses and subversions of fairy tale traditions) in that film. Apart from the book by John Hopkins ("Shrek: From the Swamp to the Screen") there does not seem to much literature onb the subject - or? Any help is appreciated! Best Philipp Schmerheim --
