Academy Awards on tap. And six of the most prominent films are about =
real life: American Hustle (which delightfully teases =93Some of this =
really happened=94), The Wolf of Wall Street, 12 Years a Slave, Captain =
Phillips, Dallas Buyers Club, and Philomena.

And therefore an appropriate time to call attention to =93Reel American =
History,=94 our ongoing Lehigh student project that contains =
information-rich projects on sixty-four films ranging from Atanarjuat to =
W. http://digital.lib.lehigh.edu/trial/reels/

RAH can be used as a basis for full or focused courses in American =
history through film, for complements to text-based courses, and for =
research and writing assignments. Each project has a bibliography on the =
=93real=94 and the =93reel=94 aspects of the topic and a variety of =
essays to provide both information and to whet discussion.

In addition, we=92re always open to adding new projects or pieces to =
existing projects from outside Lehigh.
