RTG Selects Cast for 'Alibis'

RTG SELECTS CAST FOR “ALIBIS”
 
Rehearsals are in full swing forRantoul Theatre Group's “Alibis.” DirectorTina Killeen and Assistant Director Karen Hughes have announced the upcomingopening of the Rantoul Theatre Group's spring production of “Alibis.”

The talented cast, which includes residents of Rantoul, Gifford,Champaign, and Urbana, includes Lynn Podoll, Randy Offner, Catherine Scudder,Greyson Inman, Jessie Holmes, Cynthia McEntire, David Heckman, SilvanaVandergriff, and Susie Robles.  
 
Their characters include thebutler (a necessary element of any self-respecting murder mystery), aflighty--and extremely rich--socialite, a stuffy yet sarcastic and brilliantscientist, a detective who revels in making impressive speeches, and all theother characters one would expect to meet in a mysterious English mansion.

“Alibis” is a two-act play by Peter Kennedy that parodies theatricalmurder mysteries.  The play will be presented at the Grissom Hall Theatre,914 Arends Blvd. on the former Chanute Air Force Base on May 10, 11, 12, 17, 18and 19, 2013.
