Auditions for an Independent dramatic feature film:

The Garden of Chloe by Johnny Robinson

Auditions on July 6th 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

A call back / table read will be held the following day on July 7th at
7:00 p.m.

Story - A middle aged, free-spirited performance arts teacher moves with
her companions to the small town and house of her childhood. Their
eclectic, bohemian world does not fit the suburban community. Soon the
attention of Chloe's family and neighbors is directed toward her
lifestyle, triggering her fears of public disclosure. Chloe's hopes for
the future become threatened by their judgments.

Accepting submissions for principle and supporting roles.

Ginny - 40's. Primary role as Chloe's sister. An affluent suburbanite.

                    Socially outgoing and perceptive.

Dorina - Early 70's. Primary role as Chloe's mother,

                    Slavic babushka type. Alternately stern and motherly.

Thornton - Early 70's. African American. Kind, easy going, wise mentor
type.

                    Jazz musician. (no need to play an instrument)

Christos - 30's to 50's. Charismatic European man with accent

                    Character's name can be changed to fit.

Satya - 30's to 50's. Attractive Indian or Middle Eastern woman with
accent.

                    Character's name can be changed to fit nationality.

Other European or Mediterranean men and women in their 40's are needed.

Uncle Foster - 60's. Dorina's brother.

Sharon Rawlings - 40's 50's. Professional looking, school principal.

Irwin - 50's - 60's. Chloe's next door Neighbor.

Roles for 3 children who will be between 8 to 11 years old in the
spring, and their mothers.

A pilot will be shot over one 4 day weekend in mid September.

Principal photography will be done in the spring of 2014, on weekends,
approximately early March to late May, with some weekends off.

To be shot in Champaign / Urbana Illinois.
