Pride and Prejudice directed by Joi Hoffsommer Parkland Theatre We saw Pride and Prejudice at Parkland theatre--and found it totally delightful. This Parkland production features many Celebration Company members, including two of our Board members, Joi Hoffsommer as director, and Thom Miller as the prideful Mr. Darcy. Malia Andrus designed the costumes and a number of cast and crew members will be familiar to Station Theatre folks. There is some really wonderful acting, gorgeous direction by Joi, and lovely period costumes by Malia and period choreography by Alicia Cross-Englehardt. Perhaps most impressive of all is Austen's material and its continued appeal. It feels fresh, despite the passage of time and the revolutionary changes in society and manners. And still so funny. Go see it!
