The Rantoul Theatre Group is short 1 male adult actor for a lead part in the comedy-western, "The Silver Queen" written by Champaign County author/playwright James Dedman. The role is "Hiram Roth" the crooked Leadville, Colorado town attorney set on cheating the widow Elisa McKinn Adams out of her valuable silver mine and profitable saloon, "The Silver Queen." Dialogue is easy conversational speech. The play will be performed on May 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18 2014. Rehearsals are underway on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday evenings from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Grissom Hall theatre, former Chanute AFB, Rantoul. If you would like to assume this part please respond today, or Saturday, and come to rehearsal on Monday, March 10th at 7 p.m. to receive your script and rehearse.
