August 1 deadline: Celebration Company members! Nominate a deserving young company artist for the Danny Sullivan Scholarship

     


 

THE DANNY SULLIVAN SCHOLARSHIP
PROGRAM 2015

 

Once again
this year, the Celebration Company will be offering a scholarship ($250) to a deserving
young company member, in honor of our beloved friend, Danny Sullivan. Here are
the guidelines

 

1.  The recipient must be a company member, and be nominated by another
company member.

 2. The
recipient must be entering or returning to a post-secondary institution in the
fall.

 3. The
recipient will be chosen by the Board of Directors, based on the following criteria:

 


 At least one nomination by a
     Company member.
 Quality of work in the company,
     onstage or off.
 Willingness to go above the call
     of duty (attending work days, etc.)
 Dedication to the Company’s goal
     of theatrical excellence.
 A plan to continue the pursuit of
     theatre arts during their education, either in course of study or as an
     extra-curricular activity or as a career goal. 


 4.  The decision will be made at the August board
meeting, with the scholarship to be announced at the annual Celebration Company
banquet on Sunday, August 16.

 5.  In years where no deserving candidate is
brought forward, the Board may, at its discretion, forego awarding the
scholarship.
