A CONCERT READING IN HONOR OF ALLEAN HALE
Friday, November 13 at 7:30 in KCPA Studio Theatre
Scenes, Stories, and Poems by Tennessee Williams will be presented in honor of Adjunct Professor of Theatre, Allean Hale, who passed away in April 2015 at age 100. Allean was a great supporter of local arts -- including the Station Theatre. She edited several of Tennessee Williams's early plays for publication and was highly responsible for the resurgence of interest in his early career. This performance will celebrate her work.
Local performers will include Joi Hoffsommer, Gary Ambler, Philip Johnston, and Sandi Zielinski.
Professors Robert Anderson, Tom Mitchell, JW Morrissette, Susan Schuld, and Zev Steinberg will perform along with alumni, Christopher Daley and Adam Shalzi.
Student performers will include Ryan Smetana, Brandon Rivera, Taylor Toms, Mindy Shore, Janjay Knowlden, Phallon Boyd, Jordan Pettis and Alexis DawTyne.
Everyone is invited.
