Whedonverse Project Updates - March 21

ALYSON HANNIGAN DONATION

An order has been placed on behalf of the Atlanta-Fulton County 
Public Library in honor of Alyson Hannigan's work on Buffy the 
Vampire Slayer.  Fans raised enough money to send Buffy seasons 1-7 
and Angel seasons 1-2.  The anticipated delivery date is March 30-31. 
Thank-you cards are included in the packaging to Steve Miller, the 
librarian who helped us arrange the donation.  In addition, a fan 
sent a copy of Firefly, which will be shipped separately.

ALYSON HANNIGAN'S BIRTHDAY

The Whedonverse Multimedia Project will be sending a special birthday 
bouquet to Alyson Hannigan on March 24th to both wish her a happy 
birthday and inform her of fans generous donation to her hometown 
library.  

In addition, a card will also be sent with the names of all those who 
donated:
Jennifer B., Valerie T., Neal M., Chevrier P., Jaime V., Melanie K., 
Gregory C., Lana B., Haley H., Xander S., Anthony L.

LIBRARIES WANT DVDS

A number of libraries have contacted the Whedonverse Multimedia 
Project specifically asking for Buffy, Angel, and/or Firefly DVDs.  
The first library on our list is the Chattanooga-Hamilton County 
Bicentennial Library.  The Director, David Clapp, had this to say 
about the shows: "I love the respect shown in them for libraries and 
research."  Please help us make sure their library is able to add a 
copy of these great shows to their collection.

WHEDONVERSE DOWN UNDER

The Salisbury TAFE library in Salisbury South Australia wrote to the 
Whedonverse Multimedia Project today requesting Buffy and Angel 
DVDs.  The library actually offers a course that focuses on special 
effects in TV and Movies. "We would appreciate donations of dvds so 
that students can study the fantastic art shown in both Buffy and 
Angel."  Aussie fans unite!!!

ONE HUNDRED BY MAY

As of today, the Whedonverse Multimedia Project has donated 74 DVD 
sets to public libraries.  If we can send 26 more during the month of 
April we'll have an even one hundred by May.  All we need is to send 
a complete set of BtVS 1-7, AtS 1-5, and Firefly to two libraries in 
order to achieve this goal.
