WHEDONVERSE PROJECT NEWSLETTER 
April 14, 2005 

MEETING THE NEED 

Thanks to fan donations we are 80% of the way towards completing our 
goal of sending a complete set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel the 
Series, and Firefly DVDs to the Chattanooga-Hamilton County 
Bicentennial Library in Tennessee! 

David Clapp, Director of the Library, had this to say when requesting 
DVDs: "I own multiple seasons of Buffy, Angel, and the complete 
Firefly set as well as several of the related books and love the 
respect shown in them for libraries and research. Please add our 
library system to your waiting list."

ARTWORK FOR PROJECT 


The Whedonverse Multimedia Project is looking for an artist who can 
draw us a picture of Numfar dancing that could be used as a logo for 
the website as well as on our business cards, flyers, and other 
promotional items. 

One idea is a black and white drawing that is kind of in the same 
vein as the Snoopy dance in the Charlie Brown cartoon. However, don't 
let my limited imagination squelch your creativity if you have a good 
idea that's in color or just plain different from what I described. 

Screencap Paradise has screen shots from Angel season two 
episode "Through the Looking Glass" available (http://www.screencap-
paradise.com/caps/thumbnails.php?album=201) for use to create fan 
artwork. The drawing itself doesn't need to be very large - no bigger 
than a postcard. 

We hope to have several submissions to choose from by April 24th. 
However, if you have a good design don't let the deadline stop you - 
we love Numfar and would be happy to showcase your work.

OUR TALLY! 

Project Donations: 

74 DVD sets have been purchased and distributed to public libraries 
thanks to the generous donations of fans. 

Individual Donations: 

37 DVD sets and 23 Books have been donated by individual fans 
independently from the Project.
