"Buffy" directore dies

LOS ANGELES Emmy-winning T-V producer-director Scott Brazil has died.

His credits include "The Shield" and "Hill Street Blues,"

A spokesman for F-X Networks says Brazil died monday of respiratory 
failure due to Lou Gehrig's disease and lyme disease complications. He 
was 50.

Brazil also directed episodes of "Nip/Tuck," "Grey's Anatomy," "CSI: 
Miami," "NCIS," "JAG," "Nash Bridges" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

He directed "Angel," the seventh episode of season one.
