While I gotta admit Spike and Dru were an interesting couple, to me it was more like they completed each other to make one really sinister slightly insane couple.  The way they cared for each other in turns made them seem like an old married couple with more of a history than a passion.  It almost seemed as if they were related, more so than a hot-steamy make your knees quiver kinda thing...well at least to me.
