Although you could watch Fire Walk With Me before the
second season, I would advise against it. Watching the
second season first makes it much more enjoyable. 
Some people say that the second season isn't that
good, but I personally loved it.  Some of my favorite
episodes are from that season.  The series finale is
breathtaking.  

Get your hands on the VHS tapes if the second season
(some places still have them to rent)  It is well
worth every minute.
