Hi everybody! I'm very excited to be in this group and I'd like to
thank the moderator for allowing me to join! I'm new to the world of
Twin Peaks! A few years ago on Halloween, I caught the pilot episode
and the rest of the first season on Bravo here in the US! I loved
it!!! I was pretty obsessed for a few months after that! I did alot
of research online. I wanted to buy all of the episodes of the
series and Fire Walk With Me(which I saw a couple of months after
first seeing those first episodes on Bravo), but I became so
confused over what is available here in the US and Europe, the
differences between the pilots, the bad picture and sound quality on
certain tapes/dvds, etc. I kind of gave up on it all and I slowly
forgot about Twin Peaks. Recently, it's crept back into my mind and
this time, I am determined to buy everything I can. Now, I need
everyone's advice here, since you guys know best. What is the best
way to go about getting the entire series? Should I purchase The
Collector's edition vhs boxed set, the 1st season dvd boxed set and
the hong kong us pilot dvd? After doing alot of research, this seems
to be the best option, since I do not have a region free dvd player
and we don't know when season 2 will be released on dvd. Has the us
pilot ever been released on vhs here in the us? I'm confused...lol.
I hope you guys can help. I look forward to getting to know you all!
Take care...Joey
