It's been reported here tvshows ondvd.com - Twin Peaks
<http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/shownews.cfm?ShowID=4407>   that Artisan
had the rights to the first season for some time, and released the dvd
set.  The rights reverted to paramount recently.  Thus, with some well
placed anticipatory timing, we are finally getting everything.

The pilot you have was commonly available in the states for some time. 
I have it on vhs.  It's what was shown to the execs at ABC, but I don't
personally consider it the pilot.
