Well, there are *many codes* present in Twin Peaks (most of these are
also applied in real life so to understand what is going in the real
world, it is important to understand the codes in Twin Peaks).
Of course, the most intriguing ones are the codes that one is aware of
that these *are* codes but is is not very clear what they code for.

Who are Cooper and Truman ? It is too easy (and I've not seen any proof)
to state that they are Thoth and Horus too. More likely is that Cooper
is Lynch (since Cole, played by Lynch, is Cooper's superior) and Truman 
is Frost (since Lynch & Frost worked on the series like Cooper & Truman
do in the series).

What are the Black and White lodges (and the Red Waiting Room) ?
I suppose these are identical, and that the White Lodge is about
meditation (meditation being 'the way to communicate with the Lodge
located at Sirius').
This explains why Hitler (who considered himself 'Wotan' - that is:
Mercury) was obsessed by the writings of Helena Blavatsky, why the nazi's
worked with monks from Tibet and why they hated Freemasons and Jews
(because these people share the *same* occult beliefs and do not want to
share it really).
It also explains why Cooper is talking about Tibet, why Lynch is in
'transcendental meditation' and wants to establish a TM-university at
Teufelsberg (German for Devil's Mountain) in Berlin.

Most of 'Twin Peaks' in fact is true...
- although this alternate reality is a dark story too.
