Amick talks Twin Peaks reunion

Madchen Amick has revealed that the idea of a Twin Peaks reunion has 
been 'floated'. The actress - who played waitress Shelly Johnson in 
the cult 90s TV series - said there have been discussions about some 
sort of follow-up although there are no plans so far.

Asked if there might be a reunion to mark the upcoming 25th 
anniversary, she replied: 'People have asked that. I don't know. We've 
shown up here and there, and I recently did a Twin Peaks festival. 'We 
call each other from time to time and some have floated the idea of 
actually having some kind of filmed reunion, but I can't imagine what 
we'd do.'

Madchen, 43, got her big break when director David Lynch chose her for 
the quirky series, but she admitted she didn't realise it would be 
such a success. 'I knew it would be something different because it was 
David Lynch doing television, but I had no idea it would have a 
lasting effect,' she said. 'I mean, twenty-something years later and 
it still means so much to people, and students at college even study 
it, you know?'

The actress's latest role is in TV show Witches Of East End, about 
four women who are actually witches. She explained: 'It is about a 
family of women called the Beauchamps. There are two sets of sisters. 
There's Joanna, who is played by Julia Ormond, and I play her sister 
Wendy. Joanna has two daughters; Ingrid and Freya, and they're played 
by Rachel Boston and Jenna Dewan-Tatum. It's about four women 
exploring our family dynamic, living in modern times, and having to 
hide the fact that we're witches.' Witches of East End is on Tuesdays 
at 10pm on Lifetime.
