Twin Peaks diner will be restored

More Twin Peaks news: Twede's Cafe in North Bend, Washington, which 
acted as the iconic Double R Diner in the original show, will reprise 
its role in the upcoming season, Sherilyn Fenn and Sheryl Lee 
announced at Crypticon yesterday. The diner's interior was destroyed 
in a fire in 2000 and is now being restored to its 1990 look. Also, 
the new season will have 18 episodes - double what Showtime initially 
announced - all of which will be directed by David Lynch and feature 
new music by Angelo Badalamenti.
