Welcome to the world of Twin Peaks. I remember hearing the buzz
about TP in the spring of '90, so I watched the pilot when it was a
sunday night movie in August. I absolutely loved it, and wanted to
watch the series. Unfortunately, abc slated it for saturday night,
and I was still partying then. I bought a box set of the first 7
episodes in Dec. of '91. Finally, during spring break of '92, I
borrowed the series from a friend and watched it all for the first
time. I can still remember the moods it put me in while watching
it. It's great to see a series that was on over a decade ago, and
was only on for one and a half seasons, can still spark interest. My
other friends who love Peaks live in other cities/states now, so I'm
glad I found this group to talk about the show with.
You may also want to get Welcome To Twin Peaks: Access Guide to
the Town. It's an official TP book, and it provides a bit of
background into the town. I'm sure you can get it on eBay.
You could build quite an impressive list of TP crossovers.
Might I suggest the first to be the movie version of West Side Story?
Anyway, enjoy the rest of the series, and bring the chatter!
