Marilyn Monroe being a parallel to Laura Palmer... What was that story again? That they were supposed to create a story on Marilyn Monroe because she's one of those people you kinda admire in a sorta idolized way... but then they didnt get enough funding or whatever, and thus, we got: TWIN PEAKS... Laura Palmer, another "idolized person" that was about to tell the whole world "the truth" right before they died.,, I guess Coops quote wasnt just random. - Beth P.S.
