you are right, but I wouldn't expect this either...
I guess it's pretty expensive & complicated to fly in 
highly paid actresses into this kind of remote location...

there were also more events going on Friday & Saturday night,
which I missed... I only did the ones which I could get for Free... :)
driving with my own car behind the filming sites tour bus... LOL...
so maybe Lynch was there, but I'm not sure...

from what I read, most of the outdoor scenes were shot there,
most of the indoor scenes back in studios in Hollywood...
