no... the town where most of the exterior shots 
were filmed is still called Snoqualmie... 
maybe they rename it in the future... :) 

on the Mar-T Cafe aka RR is a sign recognizing the filming site,
the gift shop around the corner has quite a collection of
Twin Peaks memorabilia for sale...
