(IIRC it was the person whose blog is linked from the gmane home page, who has blogged about where gmane is going, etc, but double-checking that is left as a followup for the OP or anyone else interested enough to check the previous thread and compare names there with those on the blog, etc. And "they", because IIRC, tho it was the singular name associated with the blog, "they" (now singular "they", as I don't know whether to say he or she) used the plural "we" in reference to gmane, /in/ that blog.) Of course were "they" to reply here as well, it could clear things up, but then "we" (being long-time followers of this group/list) are rather used to not having authoritative replies to most such requests here, for months at a time, because that's the way Lars handled it too, out for several months, then replying to dozens of threads at once... -- Duncan - List replies preferred.
