I /hadn't/, because then I'd have to go look it up, which would require
me to care enough about the specific list or lists for it to be worth my
time to do so, as opposed to simply going on memory and noting that
people will need to double-check it if it's something /they/ care enough
about to be worth the trouble for /them/, in case my memory is faulty.

However, I'm off today so the requirements for critical mass are a bit
lower than normal, and as it happens, your post just pushed me over it.
=:^)

Unfortunately, it appears my in-memory association was incorrect, as I
don't see any such posts now. I don't remember exactly which post lead
me to that conclusion, but my best current guess is that I must have
misinterpreted something Torsten Bronger said in one of his posts.

He /did/ say he still has the list of lists/groups and the address gmane
used to subscribe to each one, so if someone (list admin or...) could
resubscribe that specific address without having to answer to a
subscription confirmation as that would obviously be directed to gmane
and junked, it should "just work", but that wasn't the post I apparently
misinterpreted. It must have been a different one, and I'm only guessing
that it was one of his.
