You can read what the NNTP specification says about message format in
rfc 3977:

Basically servers are free to fold headers.

You might also want to look at rfc 1036 "Standard for Interchange of
USENET Messages":

Which more or less just tells you to go look at email format in rfc
(2)822:

 · https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2822#section-2.1.1


I predict you will grow tired of adding arbitrary headers that nobody
but you look at soon enough.
