Yes, that was the issue.  

inn is driving me crazy!  I upgraded to 2.6, and the most maddening
thing is that they've changed syntax checks for headers, because that's
really what the community needed.  So no UTF-8 in headers, no empty
headers, and a bunch of other things that I have to chase down one by
one...
