I believe the group gmane.comp.jakarta.turbine.maven.user is subscribed
to this list already. Right?

Same here, gmane.comp.jakarta.turbine.maven.devel is subscribed
to that list, right?

Isn't the group gmane.comp.apache.maven.issues subscribed to that list?

For historical reasons some maven lists are subscribed to groups under
the gmane.comp.jakarta.turbine hierarchy. It is perhaps confusing that
there are two namespaces for maven related lists, and that the group
gmane.comp.apache.maven.devel reflects a now-abandoned m2-dev list rather
than being subscribed to the active [email protected] list. But thats
how it is.
