Without this specific mailing list in mind: Being notified
that a message is moderated is not necessarily common for
mailing lists.  Often messages are just silently put into a
queue (or dropped), and sometimes it can take weeks or
months (or eternities) for a moderator to process them.

Therefore I usually subscribe to any mailing list I want to
post to via Gmane and then disable its mail delivery.
