The move will happen today, and start in probably...  an hour or so.
I'm doing some preliminary rsyncing now in advance of taking down the
MTA and the news server.

When I start re-syncing the spool, I'll take down the news server (and
the MTA), and the final rsync will take about ten hours.  (Most of that
is rsyncing the history files, and not the actual articles...)

Once the rsync is done, the news server on the new server (that didn't
sound confusing at all) will be started, and then I'll be poking around
a bit before mail delivery starts again.  So expect at least twelve
hours before any new mail is incorporated.  (But no mail should be lost.)
