Yeah, I don't know what's going on with the almalinux lists.  The groups
exist (in the /var/lib/news/active file), but the scripts don't seem to
be able to detect that -- and no messages end up in the groups.

It's been going on for years somehow.

Perhaps I should just unsubscribe the lists.
