No, this turned out to be a bug/misfeature -- Gwene started marking
feeds that it couldn't access as "dead" in 2024, but of course there
mail be intermittent network failures, and that's what seems to have
happened here:

So it marked a whole bunch of feeds as dead in October, and then never
queried the feeds again.

But if course that's too coarse a filter -- it should check more times,
at least, and only stop polling when it's failed a bunch of times.

I've now fixed this, I think.
