Gmane's admin interface tells me it is not Mandela
effect. An attempt to register that mailing lists fails
with:

Request adding this list to the Gmane archive...
   The list [email protected]
   is already subscribed as gmane.org.clubs.tilde

In my request comments, I explain why a different name
is needed:

A good newsgroup name is not easy to come up with,
because a sister mailing list already has poorly
   named newsgroup gmane.os.unix.tildeteam . Neither
project/community is about operating systems in
general or unix in particular, so I suggest a
meaningful group, such as, gmane.pubnix.tilde-club or
   gmane.tildeverse.tilde-club . I would rather talk
with the tildeteam folks about renaming their Gmane
group, if possible, than creating another poorly
   named group.

While you are fixing this error, will you please reanme
the newsgroup to either of the names suggested?
